The course is primarily dedicated to young and newcomer staff of national emergency preparedness authorities, relevant regional organisations, nuclear power plants and radiological facilities in EU Member States and Candidate Countries. Each EU Member State and Candidate Country has the possibility to delegate 1 expert to each course. Upon vacancy more than 1 participant from a State can be accepted. Those places not filled by EU Member States or Candidate Countries can be filled with participants from third countries or from international organisations. In case of over-application from a given state the selection will be made by the European Commission DG Energy.
