The latest issue of HAEA’s Nuclear Safety Bulletin presenting a number of interesting articles is now available. The new issue covers the 2024 semi-annual safety performance assessment of nuclear facilities, the legal changes of the first half of 2024, the nuclear emergency preparedness, the shutdown of a main circulation pump at Paks NPP, and the oversight of the site preparation activites of the nuclear power plant units of the new Paks II Nuclear Power Plant.

We also give an overview on the most significant domestic and international events, such as the "About atomic energy - for everyone" event in Pécs, the status of Ukrainian nuclear facilities during the Russian-Ukrainian war, the 68th General Assembly of the IAEA, and the visit of Australian Nuclear Regulatory delegation.
